In Memory of Dr Isaac Lee who having served his Generation according to the will of GOD fell on sleep on the 6th day of August AD 1780 in the 89th year of his age


Dr. Isaac Lee, son of Stephen, was a physician of celebrity at Farmington, Middletown, and later at his home, in Kensington. He married, Dec. 3, 1713, Mary Hubbard, of Middletown. She died, and he married Susannah Wolcott, also of Middletown, Conn. He died Aug. 6, 1780.

1. Timothy, born Nov. 8, 1714; died Sep. 14 1713.
2. Isaac, born Jan. 7, 1716/17.
3. Mary, born Aug. 6, 1718; died Sept. 29, 1731.
4. Stephen, born Mar. 6, 1722/23.
5. Jerusha, born Mar. 18, 1723/24; died 1725.
6. Thankful, born Nov. 9, 1726; m. Solomon Atkins, Feb. 15, 1748.
7. Jerusha, born Feb. 15, 1730/31.
8. Jacob, born 1737; Baptized in 1737.
9. Sarah, born 1739; Baptized in 1739.

Children (2nd m.):
10. Susannah, born June 10, 1743; died Feb. 1, 1759
11. Josiah, born 1745. He was a seafaring man and commanded a vessel from Middletown. He was taken, with his vessel, by the British, at the commencement of the Revolutionary War, carried to England and kept several years in confinement.
12. Mary, born Apr. 27, 1746; m. Aug. 23, 1768, Samuel Wainwright, of Middletown, Conn. He died there in 1832.
