Col. Isaac Lee, son of Dr. Isaac Lee, married, July 10, 1740, Tabitha Norton, the heroine of Mrs. Willard's "Stealing the Bride," in "Poets of Connecticut." She was the daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth Galpin Norton, born Dec. 20, 1718, at Kensington. Died Nov. 2, 1770. He married, Dec. 30, 1772, Elizabeth Grant, of East Windsor. She died May 17, 1782. He married his third wife Mary, widow of Amos Hall, and daughter of Ephraim Johnson, of Wallingford, Oct. 9, 1783. She united with the Church at New Britain, Jan. 25, 1784. Died Dec. 22, 1810. He died Dec. 13, 1802.
