Edgar L. Agrue, 78, of 1122 N. Second St. died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.
Born Dec. 11, 1922, in Bloomington to Harvey and Alta Spencer Agrue, he married Wanda Hoff on Aug. 17, 1947, in Chillicothe. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert of Chillicothe and Loren; one daughter, Diane (and Richard) Noar of Chillicothe; one brother, Harvey of Chillicothe; and one sister, Mary (and Ralph) Huth of Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was a World War II Army Air Forces veteran.
He last worked as a clerk at Kroger in Chillicothe. He also worked at Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria and Mossville in the engineering department, retiring in 1981.
Burial will be in LaSalle Cemetery.
