Cannon Falls Beacon Cannon Falls, Minnesota Friday, 11 Nov 1955 page 7, col 4 Abraham Cornwell Dies At Sanatorium Abraham L Cornwell of Cannon Falls died Sunday at Mineral Springs Sanatorium at the age of 61 years. Mr. Cornwell was born near Spring Valley, Minn on May 15, 1894. On Jun 5, 1948 he was married to Mrs. Helga Aamodt. Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Perry Reeve of Walker, two sons, Arnold of Brainerd and Raymond of Newport N.C: five stepchildren Mrs Eugene Larson, Minneapolis, Arnie Aamodt, St Paul, Car Aamodt, Vasa, Elmer Aamodt Grand Prairie, Texas and Palmer Aamodt, Norfolk, Virginia; three brothers, Frank o f Spring Valley, Robert of St Amont, LA, and Finch of Glendale, AZ; three sisters, Mrs. Lilah Mapes of Spokane, Wash, Mrs. James French of San Jose, Calif and Mrs. Glenn Dute of Rocky River, Ohio; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Lundberg chapel with the Rev Donovan Myers officiating. Burial was the St Ansgar's cemetery, Cannon Falls. Serving as pallbearers were Frank Lapham, Harry Lapham, Clarence Hagman, Myron Wangren, Leonard Duden and Miner Busse.
