Mr. Thomas B. Gibson Died at His Home at Mott's Mill, Ala. ~ Mr. Thomas Bennett Gibson, a good and well known citizen of Lee County, Ala, died at his home near Motts Mill in that county at 10:__ o'clock Saturday night after an illness of about one week from catarrhal infection and general debility. Mr. Gibson was 70 years of age, and had been in feeble health for some time. He was a veteran of the Civil war, having served in the Confederate Navy until the close of the war. He was a lifelong member of Mt Zion Methodist church at Smith's Station and was a devoted Christian and a good citizen. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Isham Meadows of Motts Mill, and three sons as follows: Mr. O. H. Gibson, of Austin, Tex., Mr. Geo F. Gibson, of Salt Lake, Utah, and Mr. W. H. Gibson of Apalachicola, Fla. The funeral took place at Mt. Zion church at 11 o'clock today, the services being conducted by Rev. Mr. Cha__er, pastor of the church and the interment being at the same place.
