MRS. FRANCES GREENE DEAD

END CAME EARLY THIS MORNING AT HOME ON GENEVA STREET - PARALYSIS CAUSED DEATH.

Mrs. Frances J. Greene, who, as stated in yesterday's News, fell sunday at her home on Geneva street, died at 2:10 o'clock this morning. Her death was caused by paralysis. Mrs. Greene had been in ill health for several years.

Ever since her childhood she had been a consecrated member of the Methodist church, and devoted to all of its work and teachings. She was a member of one of the most prominent families of Georgia, her grandparents being among the first settlers of Jones county. She was the widow of Dr. John A. Greene, of Union Springs. Mrs. Greene is survived by two daughters, Mrs. S. S. Black and Miss Berta Greene, of this city; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Garrett, of FLorida, Mrs. Eliza Smith, of Smith Station, Ala.; and mrs. Sarah Greene, of Texas. The funeral arrangements have not been made as yet.
