It was 1:30 a.m., Saturday Morning December 24, 2005, when Jesus whispered her name - Jewell Eva Busey, born February 4, 1915 to Robert and Cordia (Dilley) Martin. She was the fourth of nine children. She worked as a beautician for forty years in her own shop in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coffeyville, Kansas. She is survived by two children. George Baker of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma and Pat Holeman of Coffeyville, Kansas and eight Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, five brothers, three sisters, one great grandchild and 4 husbands. Jewell has been cremated. Internment will take place at a later date at Penwell-Gabel Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kansas. Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation.
