Hartford City - Joan A. Hall, 69, 1308 N. Mulberry St., died at 8:17 p.m. Sunday in Ball Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Hall was born in Upland to Chester Waggie and Gladys Waggie-Ballinger. She was a 1948 graduate of Jefferson Twp. High School, Grant County. She married the Rev. Lloyd Hall on Sept. 4, 1949 in Hanfield. She was a homemaker and attended Grace United Methodist Church.

The Halls moved to Hartford City in February, 1986. Over the years, they pastored many churches in Indiana. Before coming to Hartford City, the Halls served at the United Methodist Churches in Markle, Point Isabelle, Rigdon and Churubusco as well as Epworth UMC, Alexandria. Currently the retired minister of Grace UMC, the Rev. Hall has been serving as minister at Bethel Center Church of the Brethren.

In addition to her husband and her mother, she is survived by five daughters, two sisters, 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; and twin infant daughters, Lori and Lois.

Services will be held in Grace United Methodist Church, 312 W. Washington St. Burial will be in Hartford City Cemetery.
