Lois Jean Hall, infant daughter of the Reverend and Mrs. Lloyd Hall, Point Isabel, died shortly after birth at 1 a.m. today at Mercy Hospital, Elwood. A twin sister survived but is listed in critical condition at the hospital.

Reverend Hall is pastor of the Point Isabel Methodist Church.

Other survivors include three sisters, Connie, Becky, and Melody, all at home; the paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Milford Hall, Rt. 1 Van Buren, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Waggie, Upland.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Rybolt Funeral Home, Swayzee. Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery, near Hanfield.

Articles were also in Marion Leader Tribune and the Swayzee Press Jan 21-23.

(Note: the second twin--Lori Jo-- died within hours of birth. They were premature. A memorial for Lori was created the same day as Lois Jean which FindaGrave "merged" as of 4/19/22 thinking it was a duplicate. I have requested that it be restored.)

Note: Memorial is based on details given in obituary. So far no gravestone or burial record verifies interment in this cemetery. It does fit the description of being near Hanfield.

The Indiana History and Genealogy Database of Marion Public Library (online) indicates their source as Union Chapel cemetery records.
