Marcella Slaughter, 96, of Temple died Saturday, Nov. 7, in a Temple nursing home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Bob Miller officiating.
Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery in Troy.
Mrs. Slaughter was born on June 9, 1913, to Harry Grant Keetch and Lillie Hughes Keetch in Troy. She lived in the Temple and Troy areas all of her life. She married H.B. Slaughter on Aug. 4, 1930. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 16, 1985.
Survivors include a son, Billy Slaughter of Temple; two brothers, Farrar Keetch of Temple and Harry Keetch of Corpus Christi; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
