RAGO - Lewis, Helen, 95, died Nov. 4, 2009, at Kansas City, MO. She was born Oct. 12, 1914, near Adams, KS, the daughter of Joseph and Nellie Mae Allender Raida. A longtime resident of the Rago community, having also lived in Kingman, she was a homemaker. She as a member of the United Methodist Church and Della Chapter O.E.S. #172, both of Kingman. On April 20, 1935, she married Oliver Lewis at Anthony. He died June 4, 1997. Survivors include: daughter, Lois Arioli and husband Ronald; brother, Marlan; sister, Sylvia Miller; grandchildren, Douglas Arioli and Kristin Arioli; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Martin, Joe, Marshall and Carl; sisters, Grace Guthridge, Theresa Norris, Edith Culver, Nellie Mae Ridgeway, Ruby Maryberry and Dorothy Angle; step-brothers, Virgil and Elta Beach; and step-sisters, Veda Beach and Sarah LeBrue. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman, with Rev. Don Flanner presiding. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Duquoin Cemetery, Duquoin, KS. Memorials may be made with Kingman United Methodist Church and Kingman County Humane Society, both in care of the funeral home.
