Roland, Henry Phillip

Died at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital at 12:40 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 21, at the age of 72. A retired merchant, he was a native of Mississippi and had been a resident of Denham Springs for 21 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bude, Miss. His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Julia Singletary Roland; two sons, Raymond Roland of Houston, Miss., and Ralph Roland of Fairfax, Va.; one daughter, Mrs. J. C. Neal, Denham Springs; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Boyd, Valdosta, GA., and Mrs. J. R. Crittenden, Orlando, Fla.; one brother, Tom Roland, Etowah, Tenn.; one granddaughter, four grandsons, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Hollabaugh-Seale Mortuary at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 22, with Dr. D. L. White and the Rev. Fred Schwedimann officiating. Interment will be in the Midway Cemetery in Bude, Miss.
