Mrs. Lydia A King
Mrs. Lydia A King, 83 died yesterday at 7:15 am at her home, 112 E Pike Street, Houston. The wife of James King, who died in 1908, the deceased was born in Ireland but had been in this country 60 years, residing since 1902 in the Houston community.
Mrs. King was born on June 10, 1859, a daughter of Richard and Margaret Anderson Tener. She was a memeber of the First United Presbyterian Church of Houston and attended services as long as her health permitted.
She is survived by five children, Jesse, Eighty Four, RD 1; Mrs. Boyd Mercer and George King, Houston; Richard, Venetia RD 1, and Mrs. J. H. Kenamond, Canonsburg RD; one sister, Mrs. James McLean, Pittsburgh; 14 grandchildren and a number of nephews and nieces.
