She was born in Westmoreland County, August 1, 1892, a daughter of James and Lydia Tener King.
A graduate of Slippery Rock State College, Mrs. Kenamond, taught school in the Canon-McMillan School District. She was a member of the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, where she was a former elder and had taught the Priscilla Class. She also was a member of the North Strabane Fidelity Club.
On October 16, 1919, she married John H. Kenamond, who died March 11, 1969.
Surviving are two sons: J. Clifford, of Bentleyville, and Lewis V., of Mifflinburg; two brothers: Richard T. King, of Venetia, and Jeff, of Alburquerque, N.M.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Mercer, formerly of Houston, and five grandchildren.
Two brothers, George and Thomas, are deceased.
