Herman Wibbels 71, a livestock dealer in the St Anthony community for more than 50 years, died suddenly in his sleep as the result of a heart attack. He has been afflicted with heart trouble for sometime. His wife Elizabeth, discovered upon awakening that he had passed away. Herman was the youngest of his siblings born in Celestine to John and Rosa Wempe Wibbels. He was 16 years old when his Father passed away. He continued his Fathers business of selling fertilizer and livestock. He married at St. Anthony, on August 16, 1915, to Elizabeth Petry. The couple resided in St Anthony their entire lives. They had no children.
