Mrs. Elizabeth Mildred Mays Rearden, Peabody Apartments, Augusta, entered into rest Thursday, December 24, 1987 at University Hospital Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 1987 in Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev Tom Lowry officiating. Mrs. Rearden, a lifelong resident of Augusta, was a member of Curtis Baptist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include a brother, the Rev. C.J. Mays. Augusta; and five sisters, Essie Duncan, Savannah, Pauline Wilson, Augusta, Edna Altine, Charleston, S.C., Mary M Heath, North Augusta, and Irene Allen, Belvedere. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Telfair Street.
