Cecil Clyde Casto, 79, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away July 14, 2005 at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center.

He was born May 6, 1926 at Hoyt, Kansas, the son of Charles C. and Ida Marie Meyer Casto.

Mr. Casto served in the U.S. Navy, He was a carpenter and a member of the Carpenter's Local.

He married M. Delores King Nov. 20, 1948 in Topeka, Kansas. She survives.

Other survivors include, four sons and three daughters-in-law: Kenneth & Barbara, Rick & Chris, Scott & Carri, and Ron all of Topeka; a daughter, Christi Fountaine, of Topeka,two brothers, Glenn Casto, of California, and Dale Casto of Topeka,three sisters, Eunice Petesch, of Meriden, Wilma Adams of Topeka, and Darlene VanPykerin, of California, eight grandchildren, Shawn, Darren, Dustin, Jason, Kreig, Travis, Justin and Sarah and 11great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka.

Interment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery where military honors will be conducted by a funeral detail from Ft. Riley.

Mr. Casto will lie in state after 3:00 p.m., Monday, July 18, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
