Services for former Archer resident Mrs. Alline Russell, 53, were held July 5 in Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport, with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery.
Mrs. Russell died July 3 in a Bridgeport hospital. She was born in 1934 in Wichita Falls the daughter of Elmer and Lillie Ashbrood, residents of Archer County. She was a graduate of Archer City High School.
She had resided in the Bridgeport area for 20 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bridgeport.
Survivors include her husband, George Russell of Bridgeport; two daughters, Karen Sue Russell, Bridgeport and Sharon Watkins of Paradise; her mother, Mrs. Lillie Mae Ashbrook of Olney; two brothers, Bobby Ashbrook of Florida and James Ashbrook of Olney; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Gipson of Enid, Okla.; and two grandchildren.
