Born to Joseph Charlie and Addie Jane Hudson. He was retired from American Airlines as lead mechanic. He served with honor in the 36th Infantry during WWII. He was a charter member of Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dianna; granddaughter, Andrea; parents, Joseph and Addie Hudson; six brothers; four sisters and their spouses.

Funeral services for Floyd J. Hudson Sr., 83, of Skiatook, were Tuesday, March 11, in the Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church in Tulsa. The Rev. Dr. Curtis Linton officiated, and burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery at Sperry under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Sperry.
