Bio
This web-site has helped me out a lot over the years and so I have decided it's time to 'give-back.' Also...any of the pictures that I have listed, whether on my memorials or another contributor's memorials, aren't bound by copyright infrigements and can be used in your family trees, be-it whereever they are -just look for my F/G name: "Finding Family." I'll also transfer any of my memorials to you if they are your family or friends, (with the exception of my family of course.) However I would like to know how you're related and/or know them before I transfer.
If I've posted any pictures to your memorials that you'd rather I hadn't, just let me know and I'll remove it. Also if I've added a photo of a person to a memorial, I sometimes add a caption, so be sure to click on the picture to open it and see. (I wasn't aware of that we could click on a picture and perhaps see a caption for quite a while :), so I thought I'd just throw this in here)
I also try very hard not to 'duplicate', but every now and again, one get's through. Please know that it wasn't intentional. If you'll let me know, I'll delete them.
One last thing - After doing a search on Find-A-Grave for some of the young men who lost their lives during the war and not finding one, I've created one from their war records that I've found at the Nat'l Archives and the Genealogy Center in Tulsa, OK. If you check my memorials, you will find that there are MANY of our young men died overseas and were never found. I have used the 'drop-down' box that Find-A-Grave has supplied for this, but unless you knew this or opened their memorial, you would simply see 'No cemetery.' I know, however, that many of their families probably had a burial for them in their hometown so if anyone comes across one of them, please let me know so that I can list the cemetery and/or transfer them to you.
