Another Old Veteran Gone.
Jule D. Edge, an old veteran of Company "I", 47th Alabama Regiment, died at the old soldier's home at Mountain Creek last Thursday and was buried at Mount Hickory, in north Chambers last Saturday. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. J. T. Nolan, Methodist minister at Milltown. Surviving the deceased is the widow and six children, Messrs. W. T., John, Robert, Joseph and Sylvesta Edge, and Miss Ida Maud Edge. Mr. Edge had been in the Soldier's Home about two weeks. If he had lived until the 29th of this month he would have been seventy-three years of age. He was a Christian man and had been a member of the Baptist Church since early manhood.
