Clarence E. Bowen, 91, of Olney, died Feb. 19 1991 in Sterling IL.
Funeral services will be held Friday Feb. 22 in the chapel of Zirkle Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Harold Shaffer officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m.
Mr. Bowen was born Nov. 22, 1899 in Olney, the son of William and Julia (Fishel) Bowen. He married Fern Marie Marlow in Olney, April 8, 1923. She preceded him in death July 8, 1986.
He was a retired farmer and oil field worker. He was member of he Ebenezer United Methodist Church and the Richland Co. Farm Bureau.
Mr Bowen is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Dorothy (Dean) Bowen, Rock Falls, IL.: two grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Mr. Bowen was preceded in death by three brothers, four half-brothers, one sister, one half-sister, and one grandson.
