JOANN PAXMAN PEARCE JoAnn Paxman Pearce age 52 died February 10, 1983 in a Salt Lake City Hospital. She was bom April 20, 1930 in Washington, Utah to Haven and Eva Alger Paxman. Married Orson Garry Pearce July 7, 1950 in the St. George LDS Temple. Mrs.

Pearce was an active member of the LDS Church, she served in many positions, the most recent: Secretary in the 5th Ward Relief Society Presidency, 5th ward librarian, sang in the 5th Ward choir and served in the St. George Temple in the Geneological library. She was extremely interested in her family geneology. JoAnn was a loving wife and a kind and wonderful mother. She loved to paint.

Surivors include: husband, Orson Garry Pearce, St. George, Utah; Children: Merlin Garry, Provo, Utah; Mrs. Daniel Jillyne P. Bradshaw, Mrs. Paul Kimberly P.

Hackwell, both of Salt Lake City, Utah; Cori Ann Pearce, Darrin Charles, both of St. George, Utah. Two grandchildren. Brothers and sisters: Rayburn, Cannonville, Utah; David, Ogden, Utah; Alfred, American Fork, Utah; Karl, Serria Vista, Arizona; William, Washington, Utah; Garth, Sandy, Utah; John, San Diego, California; Mrs. diaries Veri" Hazzard, Ceres, California; Mary Forbes, Los Angeles, California; and Charlene Abbott, Bountiful, Utah.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 15, 1983 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. George 5th and 6th Ward LDS Chapel. Interment will be in the St. George City Cemetery under the direction of the Spilsbury and Graff Mortuary, St.
