News was received here today of the death this morning at six o'clock of Jimmie W. Sparkman, aged 76 years, beloved Morgan County resident, who died at his home three miles south of Flint, in which neighborhood he was born and reared and had lived all of his life.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 11:00 at Forrest Chapel by Rev. Grimes. Mr. Sparkman had been ill three months.
The deceased is survived by his wife; three sons, S.J., G.W. and J.T. Sparkman; four daughters, Mrs. L.J. Wallace, Mrs. W.C. Roberts, Mrs. C.B. McCord and Mrs. W.M. Sandlin; 22 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
