Died on the 25th of February, 1894, in Morgan County, Mrs. E. C. Stockton, the wife of A. M. Stockton. She was the daughter of Lewis and Nancy Sparkman and was born in middle Tennessee in 1842, and was happily married to A. M. Stockton in 1859, moved to the state of Alabama the same year. She professed religion at the age of fifteen, and joined the Methodist Church south, and lived a consistent member. She leaves a husband and five children to mourn her loss. She was a noble christian woman and has gone to her final rest.
