CUMMING, GEORGIA - Mrs. Cecile Clark Thompson, age 94, of Cumming, Ga., formerly of Travelers Rest, S.C., died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005.
She was a member of Cumming United Methodist Church and The Forsyth County Retired Teachers Association.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Harriett and Tyrous Ward, Cumming, Ga.; grandchildren, Mark and Kellie Ward, Sugar Hill, Ga., Kerry and Dori Ward, Cumming, Ga.; great-grandchildren, David and Jeffrey Ward, Sugar Hill, Ga., Kara and Avery Ward, Cumming, Ga.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillian Clark Cleveland, Marietta, S.C., Annie Clark and Morris Johnson, Waycross, Ga., Mary Clark Rice, Richardson, Texas; nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, Howze Mortuary, Travelers Rest, S.C., the Rev. David Clark Johnson and the Rev. William Clark Ebener officiating. Interment at Jackson Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Howze Mortuary tonight from 6:30 to 8:30.
