Born in Travelers Rest, she was a daughter of the late James Elmer and Martha Ann “Mattie” Parker Clark. Mrs. Cleveland was a member of Marietta First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School starting in 1943. She taught at Slater- Marietta High School, Slater-Marietta Elementary, and Northwest Middle School. She served on the board of Stroud’s Nursing Home, and was a member of the Slater -Marietta Lions Auxillary.
She is survived by two daughters: Ellen Cashion (Bobby), and Nordie Kopan (Richard); three grandchildren: Jason Deal (Sara), Brittany Grubbs (James), and Will Cashion (Crystal); and five great-grandchildren.
Along with her husband, and parents, she was predeceased by one brother, and four sisters.
Burial: Cleveland Family Cemetery.
