Last Rites Said For Mrs. Sherman At Pleasant Hill
Last rites were said Saturday morning at 11 a.m., for Mrs. Nina Sherman, age 67, of Mendenhall, Rt.3, from the Pleasant Hill Baptist church with Rev. Guy Little officiating, assisted by Rev. R. J. Sweetman.
She passed away at the Baptist hospital in Jackson Friday March 7. She was an active member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist church.
Surviving are four sons, Kirbey (Sic Kirby), of Jackson; Woodrow, Crystal Springs, John Thomas, Newhebron; Russell of Mendenhall; two daughters, Mrs. J. R. Barnhart, Crystal Springs' Mrs. Jim Honez of Onward; two brothers, David Buckley of Louisiana; T. J. Buckley, Jackson; thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren a host of nieces and nephews.
Active pall bearers were Harry and Billy Barnhart, Vic Dickerson, George Kirby Sherman, Jams Cooper, Morris Sherman Willis.
Interment was made in the Pleasant Hill cemetery with the Mendenhall Funeral Home in charge of burial arrangements.
