Kirby L. Sherman, 79, of 1600 Raymond Road died Jan. 15, 1986, in Hinds General Hospital. Services are 2 p.m. today at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mr. Sherman was a native of Newherbron and a resident of Jackson for 40 years. He attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, Jerald Sherman of Jackson; daughter, Mrs. Pauline Reid of Jackson; brothers, Woodrow Sherman and Russell Sherman, both of Mendenhall; sister, Mrs. Mildred Honea of Jackson and Leroy Slater of Gainesville, Fla.; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
