James Marvin Croxton, 77, of Haynesville, a retired farmer died Saturday, October 14 at his home. He was a member of Totuskey Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Elsie Virginia Croxton; 4 daughters, Mrs. Thelma Frizzelle of Newport News, Mrs. Lucille Thomas of Monroe, Mrs. Dorothy Frizzelle of Ellicott City, Md. and Mrs. Margaret Mutispaw of Richmond; five sons, James A. Croxton of Hampton, James R. Croxton and William E. Croxton, both of Richmond, E. Mitchell Croxton of Colonial Heights and the Rev. Linwood M. Croxton of Prince Frederick, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. E. D. Cox of Newport News and Mrs. L. A. Hubbard of Frederick, Md.; two brothers, George Croxton of Newark, N.J. and Will Croxton of Farnham; 29 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Jones-Ash Funeral Home Rainswood, with interment in Totuskey Baptist Church Cemetery, Haynesville.
