Morrison Caffee, 76, of 1565 Loney Lane, Louisville, Ky., formerly of Taylor County, died Monday, May 19, 1980, in Louisville. He was a native of Adair County, born there March 14, 1904. Mr. Caffee was a retired employee of Fawcett-Haines Printing Company in Louisville and a member of the Herald Johnson Memorial General Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Pendleton Caffee of Louisville; eight sons, Morrison Caffee Jr. of Charlestown, Ind., Doyle Caffee, Edwin Caffee, Donald Caffee, Larry Caffee, Bobby Caffee, Wayne Caffee, and Bernard Caffee, all of Louisville; and two daughters, Mrs. Dorcas Roseberry and Mrs. Jewell Parker, both of Louisville. One brother survives, Mr. Ezra Caffee of Mannsville; one sister, Mrs. Lilly Byrd of Taylor County; 29 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 22 at the Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Gowan officiating. Interment followed in the Brookside Cemetery.!
