FUNERAL RITES FOR MRS. HOLTSCLAW, TO BE HELD SUNDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Benjamin Holtsclaw, Jr., will be held Sunday afternoon. Interment is Walnut Grove cemetery.

Mrs. Holtsclaw died suddenly Friday morning at her home near Ridgeport. She is survived by her husband and five children. She was thirty-three years of age.

Estella "Stella" Esther Hardisty Holtsclaw was the daughter of Andrew Johnson and Harriet Emma Cullison Hardisty. She married Benjamin Wiley "Tinte" Holtsclaw on December 2, 1919 in Greene Co., IN. He was the son of Benjamin and Sarah Bays Holtsclaw and born on September 29, 1901 in Greene Co., IN. Estella and Benjamin Wiley Holtsclaw were parents of: Ivan Bernard; Earnest Benjamin; Paul Mason; Viola Gertrude; and William Wesley Holtsclaw.

AREA NEWSPAPER CLIPPING 1919:

Mr. Tiant (Tinte) Holtsclaw and Miss Stella Hardisty of this place were married last Tuesday. Several of the young people gathered in and gave them a charivari Tuesday night. All went home wishing them a long and successful life.
