I have found the death record for Eliza A. Barnes and it helps explain the error on the death record of her husband John Barnes [see my email for John Barnes]. Eliza's mother was Lucy Wiltse, her father Samuel Divine. Eliza A. Barnes, 75, married housewife, born Ohio 1843, died 28 January 1918, father Samuel Devine [should be Divine], mother Lucy Wiltsie. Samuel married Lucy in Wood Co, Ohio 05 April 1832.
Eliza married John Barnes 09 September 1862 in Lucas County, Ohio and her name on that record was Ann Eliza Divine.
Since I already made an edit to Eliza's relationship FAG will not allow me to make another, please link her to her mother who is FAG 35985834. I could find no memorial for her father at FAG but I'm sure he must have been buried in the Divine Cemetery, Hillsdale Co, Michigan beside his wife. Samuel Divine was a Justice of the Peace in Hillsdale, Michigan.
