Lula Cockerham Brewer, borne Nov. 16, 1887, departed this life Jan. 17, 1964, at the age of 76 years and two months.

In August 1902 she was united in marriage to Richmond Brewer who preceded her in death seven years and two months. To this union were born 8 children, three preceding her in death.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Junie Profitt, with whom she made her home in Middletown, Ohio, since the death of her husband; Mrs. Ava James, Dry Ridge, Mrs. Odra Wallace, Circleville, Ohio, three sons, Arthur, Dorsie and Arnold Brewer all of Middletown, Ohio; 22 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; three sisters, Lauraa Hollon and Beulah Dalton of Landsaw and Bessie Kid of Morgan County; one brother, Claude Cockerham, of Wolfe County.

She was united with the Church of Christ in 1902 and was a faithful and devoted Christian worker in the Church of Christ for 57 years.

Funeral service was held at the Landsaw Church of Christ, Landsaw, Jan. 19 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Willie Taylor and Rev. J. M. Cockerham officating. Interment in Landsaw cemetery. Arrangements were by McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home in Middletown, Ohio.
