Mrs. Snow was born July 26, 1919, in Page County, and was a daughter of the late Alfred Thomas and Crimora Meadows. She was a homemaker, and was a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church, near Elkton.
On December 27, 1939, she married Carl Lynwood Snow, who preceded her in death on August 10, 2004. Survivors include three sons, Randell Snow, Carl Lee Snow and Eddie Snow, all of Elkton; two daughters, Charlotte Davis of Elkton and Louise Williams of Stanardsville; a brother, Franklin Meadows of Elkton; two sisters, Iva Shifflett and Velva Hughes, both of Shenandoah; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Bob Buchanan will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Saturday, at the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the Snow home at anytime. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elkton Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 152, Elkton, VA 22827.
