Services for Graham Richard Smith, 88, of Snyder will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at East Side Church of Christ with Tom Holcomb and Roy Rosson officiating.

Burial will be at Dunn Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home of Snyder.

He died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2001.

He was born Nov. 23, 1912, in Scurry County, where he was a lifetime resident. He married Gladys Glasscock on Oct. 27, 1939, in Snyder. He was a farmer and rancher and served on the Dunn school board in 1948. He was a member of both the Dunn Church of Christ, where he had been an elder since 1945, and the East Side Church of Christ in Snyder.

A son, Olton, died Nov. 24, 2000.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Richard Wayne of Odessa, James Wesley of Flower Mound and Anthony Jay of Snyder; a brother, Olton O. of Morenci, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
