SNYDER (Special) Services for Rellie Ellerd Hammond, 100, of Ralls, will be at 3 p.m. today at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel in Snyder with Tom Holcomb of Eastside Church of Christ in Snyder officiating.
Burial will follow in the Snyder Cemetery under direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
She died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000 in Ralls Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
She was born November 5, 1899, in Stephenville.
She was a former longtime resident of Colorado City and Dunn and also lived in Lubbock and Plainview. She was married to Henry Ellerd and Julian Hammond.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Walter Ellard of Carrollton; a daughter, Leona Lawson of Ralls; two brothers, Graham Smith of Dunn and Olton Smith of Arizona; five step-children; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.
