Frank loved helping his mom with anything she needed done. He also enjoyed spending time with family especially playing with his nieces and nephews. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. He loved Karate, listening to cd's watching movies and he was also very creative at making different things and loved to draw. He also loved to pick wild onions with his mom and sisters.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Alex and Puna Soap and Fogg and Hattie Holmes, 1 nephew; "Baby Boy" Axl J. Grimmett, 1 niece; Kylee Grimmett, Aunts; Lula Teehee and husband Troy, Lucille McCuistion and husband Woodrow, Irene Wolfe and husband Albert, Martha Squirrel and Husband Jim, Genora Cochran, and 5 uncles; Levi Soap, Bobby Lee Soap, Joe Holmes, Mike Holmes, Leon Holmes and a special friend "Smoke".
Frank is survived by a very loving family that includes his mother; Inola (Soap) Grimmett and Husband Roy of the home in Stilwell, Ok, Father; Charlie Holmes, sisters; Patsy Springwater and husband Albert, Mary Goodrich and husband Isaac, Frankie Smith and husband Norman Swake, Norma Littledeer and husband Kenneth, Loretta Holmes and companion Alfredo, Diane Garcia and husband Jose, Victoria Grimmett and companion Raymond Sanders all of Stilwell, Ok, Brothers; Roy Lee Grimmett, Raymond (Butch) Shell, and Marco Grimmett and companion Joni Cutnose all of Stilwell, Ok. 23 Nieces, 19 nephews, 21 great nieces, 13 great nephews, special great niece; Aaliyah Star Springwater, aunts; Nancy Soap, Ruby Soap, Emma Holmes all of Stilwell, Ok, Ida Holmes of Tulsa, Ok, Edith Scraper and husband Jr. of Welling, Ok, Uncles; Nelson Soap and wife Minnie, John E. Soap and wife Joann, Harry Soap, Alex Cochran all of Stilwell, Ok, Willie Holmes of Barber, Ok, Fogg Holmes of Tulsa, Ok, Several cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 28, 2009 in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Steve Campbell and Bro. Carney Wilson officiating. Interment followed at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
