The body of Sgt. Roy T. Hamilton, who died in service of his country during World War II, will arrive in Decatur Wednesday afternoon and will be taken to the home of the parents in Austinville.
Funeral rites will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from Austinville Methodist Church, Rev. Wright, former pastor there, officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn cemetery, Drinkard's Brown-Service of Hartselle directing. Full military burial honors will be accorded the serviceman.
Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hamilton; six brothers, Jack, Fred, Raymond, Sim, Joe Lee and Garrold Hamilton, all of Austinville.
