Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Sims returned Saturday from a week's stay in San Antonio where they went to see their son, McKinley Sims, who is ill with pneumonia in the hospital at Camp Travis. He was improved when they left.

Services Held
For M. H. Sims
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, in the Pentecostal Holiness church of Davis for McKinley H. Sims, 84, who died Sunday, Feb. 12 in the Oklahoma Veterans Center, Sulphur. Rev. Leroy Tignor officiated.
Sims was born Oct. 14, 1893, in Waynesboro, Tenn. He had lived most of his life in Davis. Burial was in the Green Hill cemetery under the direction of Bahner-Fox Funeral Home.
A retired employee of Tinker Air Force Base, Sims was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Pentecostal Holiness church. He was married to Katie Gargis on Sept. 23, 1927 in Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Katie of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Nelda Welch, Stratford; one son, James M. Gargis of Elmore City; five sisters, Mrs. Nona Thompson, Wynnewood; Mrs. Alice Stults, Marlow, Mrs. Ada Clure, Madill, Mrs. Dora Thomas, Davis, and Mrs. Annabell Stults, Iron City, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
