Obituary: "Illness Claims Wife Of Former Gunnison Mayor"
Mrs Rosabelle Whitlock Rosenlund, 67, wife of former Gunnison Mayor, Ferd Rosenlund, died at 12:15 a.m. April 5th in the Gunnison Hospital after a lingering illness. Mrs Rosenlund had been in failing health for more than a year.
She was was born April 14, 1891 in Mayfield, a daughter of George A. and Mary Ann Jensen Whitlock. She attended the local schools, and lived in Gunnison Valley her entire life.
June 8, 1910, she married Ferd Rosenlund in the Manti L.D.S. Temple.
Mrs Rosenlund was an active member of the Gunnison Garden Club, and an ardent member of the L.D.S. Church until ill health forced her retirement.
Survivors include her husband, Gunnison; four sons, Clifton (Dick) Rosenlund, Meeker, Colorado; Aubrey Rosenlund, Gunnison, Utah; Howard Rosenlund, Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Keith L. Rosenlund, San Juan, Puerto Rico; nine grandchildren; four brothers, Alma Whitlock, Bingham, Utah; Andrew Whitlock, Worland, Wyoming; Hyrum Whitlock, Mayfield, Utah, and Rulon Whitlock, Sandy, Utah; two sisters, Mrs. Mardsden Gribble, Gunnison, Utah and Mrs.Reed Burr, Richfield, Utah."
