William R. "Bill" Green of Mountain Home died at Baxter County Regional Hospital Wednesday (Feb. 21, 1996). He was 81.
A rock mason, Mr. Green was born in Mountain Home Aug. 17, 1914, and lived here throughout his life.
His parents were Howard and Minnie Brooks Green. He married Leanna Britt Sept. 1, 1940 in Mountain Home.
HE is survived by his wife, at home; a son, Winfred Green of Mountain Home; two brothers, Horace Green and Cleo Green, of Mountain Home; two sisters, Mae Britt and Virgie Lance, of Mountain Home; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and three sisters.
Visitation will be 9 am - 9 pm today at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6 - 7 pm. The funeral will be at 10 am Saturday at Roller Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Henson officiating. Interment will be in East Oakland Cemetery.
