DEATH OF MRS. HALL. Pioneer Woman Passed Away on Monday Morning
A highly esteemed and pioneer resident of Petaluma passed to rest on Monday morning in the person of Mrs. Hall, widow of the late Dr. Hall. Mrs. Hall was ninety years of age and came to Petaluma to reside in the early fifties.
In Wilmington, Delaware, on October 30, 1881, they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. They had been married 61 years when the Doctor passed away. Thirteen children blessed their happy union.
The deceased came of a prominent southern family and was widely known throughout the county. She had hosts of friends. The deceased was the mother of J. E. Hall of Santa Rosa, Gil P. Hall, Charles Hall, Mrs. F. A. Cromwell and Mrs. William Lewis of Petaluma and Walter Hall of San Francisco.
The funeral of the deceased will take place from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Lewis, in Petaluma this morning.
