Walter A. Baker, Pueblo County resident since 1945, late of Boone, passed away Nov. 9, 1982. Mr. Baker was preceded in death by wife, Lida Mae Baker, 1976; daughter, Loretta Black, 1963; and son, Ellsworth Baker, 1973. He is survived by daughter, Mrs. Mary Wilson, Walsenburg; son, Allen Baker, Olney Springs; two half-brothers, Bob Baker, Westcliffe, and D.J. Baker, Rye; half-sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Osmanski, Pueblo; step-mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Baker, Pueblo; 18 grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be held at 10 a. m. Friday in the Adrian Comer Garden Chapel with the Rev. John Espen of Walsenburg officiating. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens. The family may be contacted at 2316 Balboa. Mr. Baker will lie in state from noon Wednesday until service time.
