Adams was born in Tennessee & moved to the Chandler-Davenport area as a child. He moved to Spencer in 1964 & later to Del City.
Adams was the retired owner of a self-service laundry in Spencer & a member of First Baptist Church of Cushing, Oklahoma.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bob (Janet)Birdsong. Del City; 4 brothers, Bill & Leo, both of Wellston, & Lester & Clyde both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 3 sisters, Thelma Sloggett, Depew; Lena Curtis, Oklahoma City, & Mallie Earp, Cushing, & 2 Grandchildren.
