BLOUNT, MRS. ALICE O. died at 6 a.m. Tuesday at Independence Hospital. A native of Livingston Parish, she was 77 years old and resided in Walker. Was a member of the Judson Baptist Church. Body at Hollabaugh-Spindle Funeral Home in Denham Springs until 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Services at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Judson Baptist Church with the Rev. J. D. Carroll officiating. Interment in Judson Cemetery. Survived by two sons, L. V. of Walker and Amos of Weiss; two daughters, Mrs. J. R. Martin and Mrs. Alvin Sibley of Walker; five sisters, Mrs. Steve Graham, Mrs. Julius Graham, Mrs. Ernest Graham, Mrs. Melvin Wascom and Mrs. Frank Reinninger, all of Walker; nine brothers, Arch, Sidney, Eldon, Erlo, J. P., Leo and Edward Covington, all of Walker, Sammy Covington of Corbin and D. E. Covington of Hammond; 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
