Died at 1 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, 1973, at Lallie Kemp Hospital, Independence. He was 62, resident of Walker, native of Livingston Parish and a retired painter. Body at Hollabaugh Spindle Funeral Home, Denham Springs, until 1:20 p.m. Tuesday. Religious services at Friendship Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by Revs. P. W. Sibley and M. L. Davis. Burial in Vickers Cemetery, Walker. Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Vivian McMorris, Mrs. Emma Wascom, Mrs. Allie Graham and Mrs. Lonnie Graham, all of Walker; six brothers, Erlo, Eldon, Sidney, Edward and Leo Covington and Vester Galloway, all of Walker; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was a member of Friendship Methodist Church.
