Elizabeth Hurst was the daughter of Squire William Hurst and Johanna Baker. She was the sibling of Marshall Calloway, John, Sabina or Savanah, William Elijah, Soloman Sanders, Sarah Jane, Mary Ann, and Martha Hurst. Elizabeth married Elisha Green Wilson Sr. on May 1, 1851 in Knox County Kentucky. They had eleven children, according to a 1900 census record, nine of which were living at that time. They were: Thomas Marshall Calloway, Andrew Jackson, Soloman Sanders, William Elijah, Elisha Green Jr., Sarah Rutha Jane, John, Mary Emily, Franklin Finley, Judge Randall, Squire Branson and an infant. Elizabeth and Elisha Sr. were married for 60 long years before his death in 1911. Elizabeth lived to a ripe old age of 83 years.
