William Elijah Wilson was the son of Elisha Green Wilson Sr. and Elizabeth Hurst. He was the brother to Elisha Green Wilson Jr., Thomas Marshall Calloway, Andrew Jackson, Soloman Sanders, Sarah Rutha Jane, John, Mary Emily, Franklin Finley, Judge Randall, Squire Branson and Baby Wilson. He married Cornelia Kirby in 1889, in Knox, Ky. Their children were: Ladonia Faye, Mary Elizabeth, and Salibury Wilson. Cornelia was born: 1872, died: ?. He then married Laura Belle Green on November 16, 1899. Their children were: Rufus Squire, Andrew Roy, Hattie May, Vestina Amanda, Nellie Lorriane, Anne Belle, William Thomas, Sarah Ellen 'Sadie', Myrtle Quentin, and two living Wilsons. They also had two children who died in infancy. 'Lije' Wilson, as he was called, was a farmer and a baptist.
