Died 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 1993, at Medical Center of Baton Rouge. She was 91, a native of Walker and resident of Denham Springs.

She was a retired schoolteacher with 41 years service in Livingston Parish school system, where he taught 35 years at Walker Elementary and homebound children after retiring. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Religious services at Walker Baptist Church, Walker, at 3 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Carl Foster. Burial in Palmetto Cemetery.

Survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dudley R. and Thresa Watson, Walker; a sister, Lou Williams, Baton Rouge; two brothers, Frank Smith, Sandy Hook, Miss., and Floyd Smith, Denham Springs; and a granddaughter, Angelia Watson.

Preceded in death by husband, Collins E. Watson; a grandson, Kyle C. Watson; several brothers and sisters. She was a member of Walker Baptist Church.
